Outdoor pantry

We started with leftover lumber and reclaimed windows , a sunny corner in the backyard and lots of digging. The greenhouse ( or perhaps Conservatory?) is almost complete, just needs the roof tiles, door handle and a few shelves put in place. The gates still need to be made as well as one more planter but everything is growing up and out.

Having the area fenced in creates a nice space in itself. Since Berkeley is a great chewer , we found it best to keep the area dog free as well as chemical free.

Most of the plants were started from seed with a couple purchased as starts. We have been having out coffee out there every morning, seeing what new leaves have come up.

New Bunny

Claire Robertson made and sent me this adorable Marshmallow Bunny for a swap. I think she is just perfect and arrived just in time for Easter.
