Apron Swap reveal

December 1st was the day of our virtual Holiday Apron Swap Party http://www.apronswap.blogspot.com. There were twenty of us I believe, from all over the US participating in this online swap.
I sent my surprise package to Nickie http://www.loftyperches.blogspot.com in California and received one from Sandy http://www.gracestreetstudio.com who mailed hers incognito from Chicago. I will post pictures of the goodies I had received once I have them taken tomorrow (though, um, the chocolates are now all gone but I did save the boxes to show! ) ;)

In the meanwhile heres a peek of what I made and sent to Nickie:

A bit hard to see here, but there are crystals dotting all around the yoke and a few are scattered down the front ( Nickie wrote she likes "sparkle") The flower pouf accent is just to add some fun.

I was glad to find a fabric with all the colors in it that were listed as her favorites too.

It was really windy the day I took these photos ( in our front door entryway). Even pinning the apron down to the shingles didnt work all that great.

Oh well, when you live in Oregon, you learn to adapt quickly to the numerous changes in weather throughout the day.

This is one fantastic apron. I adore the fabric and flower and the crystals are such a creative idea!
